This program is designed for individuals who are passionate, driven, and ready to take the next step in their journey. If you meet the criteria and share our goals, we encourage you to apply.
- Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in another field
- Students missing communication sciences and disorders (CSD) prerequisites for SLP graduate programs
- Visiting students from other universities in North Carolina
Please Note:
- Non-degree-seeking students may enroll in up to nine (9) graduate credit hours total, typically the equivalent of three courses.
- Students who wish to complete all prerequisite courses at NCCU should consider applying to our three-year master’s program, which includes a leveling year for individuals without a background in communication sciences and disorders.
- Enrollment in these online prerequisite courses does not guarantee or imply admission to the master’s program in speech-language pathology. Admission to the graduate program requires a separate application and review process.
