A Message from the Vice-Chancellor

The Division of Student Affairs touches each student during their time at NCCU, curating a rich, unique undergraduate student experience. With your support, the Division can work to advance the University’s mission and prepare our students to transform communities upon graduation.


Student Engagement & Leadership

The Department of Student Engagement and Leadership provides programs and services that support student’s leadership development, cultivate seamless learning experiences, and promote engagement in meaningful co-curricular activities.

Spiritual and Development Service

The Office of Spiritual Development and Dialogue office works with community spiritual leaders to give NC Central students an opportunity to enhance their spiritual awareness and encourage interfaith dialogue among fellow students and community members.

New Student & Family Programs exist to provide education, leadership, and professional development in the areas of college student orientation, transition, retention and parent/family programs.

Health and Wellness

The mission of the Student Health Center is to provide a collaborative and holistic health climate that provides service, care, wellness, and education. At the Student Health Center, we promote the implementation of essential skills centered on optimizing sustainable, healthy behaviors among students, on our campus, and within surrounding communities.

Smiling Eagle Students

The NCCU Counseling Center is staffed by licensed mental health professionals. We provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, substance abuse prevention and intervention, anger management, and other services. We strive to provide services that are nonjudgmental and confidential and hope that all students feel safe in sharing their concerns.

Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation seeks to provide holistic recreational programs and services which promote social, physical, intellectual, and personal growth. We strive to provide an inclusive environment through intentional programming to foster and enhance student development.

Transportation & Parking Services

The Department of Transportation and Parking Services manages the parking and campus transportation infrastructure for students, employees, visitors, and guests. Our top priority is optimizing parking by providing transit opportunities that provide a high level of service so that all constituents are served.

The Career and Professional Development Center is dedicated to helping NCCU students get Career Ready for Life!  We collaborate with student organizations, faculty, and campus departments to offer transformative career and professional development events.
