The major goals of DREAM STEM are to increase enrollment and retention in STEM degree programs at NCCU, to increase persistence and graduation rates in STEM and to produce highly-skilled STEM graduates who can create and innovate.
The STEM education research involves investigation of cognitive and non-cognitive factors that influence student’s academic performance in STEM at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
