Experimental Research in Condensed Matter Physics
This group investigates the fundamental physical mechanisms underlying the optoelectronic properties of a wide range of novel materials for sensor, photovoltaic, light emission and photodetector applications. If you are interested in getting involved as a student researcher, please contact the faculty members below:

Prof. Bondarev’s Condensed Matter Theory group at NCCU has been focusing on revealing the properties of low-dimensional quantum materials. For more information, please see his profile.
The major goals of DREAM STEM are to increase enrollment and retention in STEM degree programs at NCCU, to increase persistence and graduation rates in STEM and to produce highly-skilled STEM graduates who can create and innovate.
The STEM education research involves investigation of cognitive and non-cognitive factors that influence student’s academic performance in STEM at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
