Eligibility for federal student aid is determined based on financial need in conjunction with several other factors. The Office of Scholarships and Student Aid determines what you are eligible to receive based on your expected family contribution (EFC). To receive financial aid, you must meet certain eligibility criteria.

Certification of No Parental Support for Limited Financial Aid

The parent refuses to complete the FAFSA.

FAFSA Correction

FAFSA correction is required due to an incomplete application.

Marital Status Verification

Conflicting information exists regarding the individual's marital status.

Minimal Income Form

Low to no income was reported on the FAFSA.

Parental Information Form

Parental demographic information must be added to the FAFSA.

Signature Page

A valid signature is missing from the FAFSA.

V1 Standard Verification Worksheet

Submit standard verification of household size and income.

V4 High School Completion Worksheet

Submit verification of high school completion and identity.

V5 Aggregate Verification Worksheet

Submit aggregate verification of income, household size, high school completion and identity.

Cost of Attendance Adjustment Form

Request an increase for the amount of eligible costs in your financial aid budget for this year.

Loan Increase

Request to increase a student loan based on remaining eligibility.

PLUS (Parent) Loan Increase Request

Request to increase a parent PLUS loan (electronically signed by student and parent).

Teach Grant Request

Request to be considered for an NC TEACH Grant service loan.
