A Letter from Our SGA President

Greetings Eagles,
We bring you greetings on behalf of the North Carolina Central University Student Government Association. It is with great honor and privilege that we have been allotted the privilege to serve as your Student Body President and Vice President for the 2020–2021 academic year.
The goal of SGA for the 2020–2021 academic year is multifaceted: to encourage university recruitment and retention, outreach, legacy, and efficiency within our campus community. We believe a great leader is someone who possesses a vision and the courage to follow through, who has integrity, honesty, and humility and who continues to be focused in the face of adversity. We are true servant-leaders with a desire to speak up for what’s right, give back to the community, and pursue innovative solutions to the problems many of us face on a daily basis. It is our hope that the strategic plan we have designed for our administration will restore and improve your level of faith in NCCU’s Student Government Association. Our strategic plan is our commitment to always put the students first, remain transparent, and ensure that our student's voices are not silenced, at any time. We believe that every student plays a vital role in executing our ultimate goal, which will propel us to "Move Forward, Faster."
The Coleman-Elliott, Golden-Era Administration’s goal for SGA is to include students into the work of the Student Government Association through involvement, committees, and community. It is our goal to create an opportunity for students to connect with the university administration on an interpersonal level.
With Eagle Pride,
Shaun M. Coleman and Jonta L. Elliott
Student Body President and Vice President
