Nakia C. Davis serves as Associate Dean of Clinical Legal Education and Experiential Learning at North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she provides strategic leadership for the school’s clinical and experiential programs.

A proud NCCU Law alumna, Dean Davis joined the faculty after building a successful family law practice in Durham. During her distinguished career at NCCU Law, she has served as Director of the Family Law Clinic, taught both clinical and doctrinal courses, and advanced through the clinical faculty ranks to Senior Clinical Professor, the highest rank available to clinical faculty at the School of Law.

Dean Davis is a respected educator, scholar, and leader whose work centers on experiential learning, family law, professional development, and access to justice. Her service extends throughout the legal and academic communities, and she has presented nationally on clinical education, leadership, and the preparation of future lawyers.
