It is a privilege to join North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law as dean and to become part of a community with a proud and distinguished history.
For more than 85 years, NCCU School of Law has transformed lives through legal education and prepared generations of lawyers committed to leadership, service, and justice. The school's impact can be seen across North Carolina and throughout the nation in the accomplishments of its alumni, faculty and students.
As I begin my tenure as dean, I look forward to listening, learning, and building relationships across the NCCU School of Law community. In the weeks and months ahead, I am eager to meet with students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and friends of the school to learn more about the people, experiences, and traditions that make NCCU Law such a special place.
Together, we will build upon the school's strong foundation while continuing to advance academic excellence, student success, innovation, and public service. I am committed to fostering an environment where our students are prepared not only to succeed in the legal profession but also to lead and make an impact in their communities.
