American Marketing Association - Business Eagle Chapter

The American Marketing Association is a professional association for marketing professionals, with 30,000 members as of 2012. It has 76 professional chapters and 250 collegiate chapters across the United States. The Business Eagle-AMA chapter students receive the resources and skills they need to shape the future of this industry. With more than 320+ collegiate chapters, AMA Collegiate members gain insights into what a career in the field looks like via relevant speakers and events as well as a space to network with like-minded peers.
Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world. Inducted as students, BGS members go on to serve in critical leadership roles in corporate, entrepreneurial, government, non-profit, and academic sectors. BGS students represent the top 10% of their business school classes at the undergraduate level and the top 20% at the graduate level at the time of their induction and receive a lifetime membership.
NSMH

NSMH is the premier professional organization for hospitality students. The organization addresses diversity and multiculturalism, as well as the career development of its student members. The organization provides events and programs that bring together college-level students with company sponsors, industry representatives, recruiters from major companies like Marriott, Disney, Hyatt, Hilton and Four Seasons, other hospitality organizations, advisors and mentors. Additionally, the organization provides scholarships and leadership opportunities for students to grow and excel. Each year, the national conference brings hundreds of students from across the country to one location.
Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®)

The HFTP organization, which was established in 1952, is an international, nonprofit association, headquartered in Austin, TX, with offices in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Dubai. HFTP is recognized as the spokes group for the finance and technology segments of the hospitality industry, with its members and stakeholders spanning across the globe. HFTP uniquely understands the industry's pressing issues and assists its stakeholders in finding solutions to their challenges more efficiently than any organization. It does this via its expert networks, research, certification programs, information resources and conferences and events such as HITEC. HFTP also owns the world's only hospitality-specific search engine, PineappleSearch.com®.
Information Technology (IT) Eagles

The IT Eagles are a group of students (mainly comprised of Computer Science and Business majors) who network to build both student and professional relationships. The overall goal of the organization is to secure internships and keep informed of trending technical advancements. The IT Eagles also help coordinate North Carolina Central University's involvement in IT-related competitions, RTP site visits, and overall student academic progression.
Entrepreneurship Club
Advisor: Dr. Henry McKoy
The organization provides an environment where students are introduced to entrepreneurial concepts, practices, and information that can help them successfully launch and manage businesses in the present and/or the future. It is also a resource for others on campus, including faculty and staff, who are interested in entrepreneurship. The club offers support to all on campus interested in learning more about being an entrepreneur through meetings, workshops, speakers, and useful information. This student-led and faculty-supported club is available to anyone seeking to tap into their entrepreneurial spirit, no matter what level they are currently at.
National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)

NABA is a nonprofit membership association, dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for black accounting and finance professionals by providing leadership and technical training, as well as networking and career opportunities.
Financial Management Society
Advisor: Dr. Kofi Amoateng
The Financial Management Society assists in the professional, educational and social development of its members. The organization brings in speakers who work in professional business fields (Finance, Accounting, etc.). The organization also helps students with obtaining internships or professional opportunities designed for students. Lastly, the organization is also involved in recreational activities that aid students in academic and social development.
Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM)

The Society for Human Resources Management is a student organization that helps students to learn about Human Resources and to network with HR consultants in the field. Also, students get the opportunity to study and take the SHRM-CP certification.
