Welcome to the School of Business Summer Camps! Our camps are designed to give teens the opportunity to explore careers in accounting, entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, wealth management, and real estate through hands-on experiences and interactive learning.

Each camp is led by experienced professionals who are passionate about their field and eager to share their knowledge with the next generation. Whether your teen is interested in starting their own business or building robots, our camps offer a unique and fun way to learn about these industries and gain valuable skills for the future.

School of Business Summer Camps Start

Isaiah Tidwell Accounting Program: BASE Camp

Program Dates: June 17–June 21, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

The Business Accounting Summer Enrichment (BASE) Camp is an excellent opportunity for teens to discover and develop their business skills, with dynamic and immersive learning experiences in accounting and business management. The camp provides an exceptional platform for teenagers who are interested in the accounting field to learn valuable skills that can help them in their future careers. Participants will also have a chance to network with industry professionals, creating new opportunities for their future growth. The Accounting Summer Camp is the perfect way to gain an in-depth understanding of the accounting profession, develop essential skills and build a strong foundation for a successful career in finance. Cybersecurity: GenCyber Camp

Program Dates: June 24–June 28, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The GenCyber summer camp is a unique opportunity for high school students to engage in hands-on activities, workshops, and team projects related to cybersecurity. Students will learn about various aspects of cybersecurity, such as cryptography, network security, ethical hacking, and digital forensics. The camp curriculum is designed by experienced cybersecurity professionals and educators, ensuring that participants receive high-quality instruction.

Peggy Ward Financial Education Center (PWFEC) Wealth Management Camp

Program Dates: June 24–June 28, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Teens can get ready to take steps towards financial independence with the Peggy Ward Financial Education Center (PWFEC) Wealth Management Camp. This week-long, action-packed summer camp provides teenagers with an engaging and interactive opportunity to learn valuable financial skills and prepare for their futures. Designed for high school students, this exciting camp will teach them the critical elements of wealth management and expand their horizons through teamwork and challenges. They will also be a part of a dynamic group and compete for cool individual and team prizes.

Entrepreneurship Camp

Two-Week Program: July 8–July 19 (M–F), 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

The Entrepreneurship Summer Camp is the perfect opportunity for teens to develop and explore their entrepreneurial skills. This exciting summer camp offers a hands-on experience in which teens will learn the essentials of entrepreneurship, including developing a business idea, creating a brand, managing finances and making presentations. Participants will be given the opportunity to meet with successful entrepreneurs who will share their experiences and provide advice. Our campers will get the chance to network with other like-minded teens and gain valuable experience pitching their ideas and building their businesses by fostering critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills. This camp provides teens with the tools required to become successful entrepreneurs.

Real Deal Commercial Real Estate Summer Camp

Program Dates: July 22–July 26 (M–F), 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

The Real Estate Summer Camp, hosted by North Carolina Central University School of Business, is a one-week day camp designed for high school students. Participants will explore the multifaceted world of commercial real estate and discover how they can contribute to the ongoing growth and development in their communities, encompassing shopping centers, retail chains, hotels, apartment buildings, and more. By offering a comprehensive introduction to commercial real estate, the camp equips students with valuable knowledge and insights that can potentially spark their interest and pave the way for future exploration or even careers in this exciting field.
