Hardware Support Services

NCCU recommends several hardware vendors to accommodate your computer needs. Visit Eagles' Purch to view the recommended models from our preferred vendors, Apple, Dell and Lenovo, within each of their punch-out areas.

Direct links to each vendor punch-out for computers, tablets/iPads, and accompanying peripherals are below. You must be logged into myEOL to view these storefronts directly:

Note: Supported computers and tablets/iPads must be purchased through one of the approved punch-outs listed above.

At NCCU, buying tech (like computers or apps) that is not on our pre-approved list needs extra review first and is not guaranteed to be approved. This step takes more time but keeps things safe, makes sure everything works together, and helps control costs.

Only the chief information officer (CIO) can make exceptions to this rule.

Our Managed Print Services program cuts printing costs campus-wide by providing printers, maintenance, and supplies through a single vendor. All schools, colleges, and departments are required to participate.

This includes driver installation, equipment upkeep, consumable replacements, and troubleshooting for printers and copiers managed through PaperCut. Note that ITS does not support local desktop printers. If you are eyeing new items such as large plotters, 3D printers, or specialty models, get approval from Campus Enterprises/ITS before buying.
