Diploma Pick-Up and Mailing Options
When your diploma is available, a notification will be sent to your NCCU email account. Students who have satisfied all academic, non-academic, and financial obligations to North Carolina Central University will be eligible to select one of the following diploma delivery options:
Option 1: Pick Up Your Diploma in Person
Diplomas may be picked up at the Office of the Registrar Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A valid photo ID is required.
Option 2: Request Diploma Mailing
For U.S. Addresses
- Pay the $14.95 mailing fee by contacting the NCCU Cashier's Office at 919-530-6209, 919-530-6014, or 919-530-6234.
- Complete and submit the Request for Original Diploma Mailing Form via fax (919-530-7974) or email ([email protected]).
For International Addresses
- Email ([email protected]) to request an international postage quote.
- Include the following information in your email:
- Full name, Banner ID, and complete mailing address
- The Office of the Registrar will provide the required postage amount.
- After receiving the postage quote, submit payment by calling the NCCU Cashier's Office at 919-530-6209, 919-530-6014, or 919-530-6234.
- Complete and submit the Request for Original Diploma Mailing Form via fax (919-530-7974) or email ([email protected]).
Note: Please allow up to 15 business days for your degree to be posted to your official NCCU transcript. Beginning with Summer 2025 graduates, digital diplomas are available through Parchment. Once your digital diploma is ready, an email will be sent to your NCCU email account with instructions for creating a Parchment account and accessing your diploma. Please note that neither printed nor digital diplomas will be released until all outstanding obligations to the University have been satisfied.
