Program Overview
The Psychology MA program addresses personnel needs across the state, region and nation by offering concentrations in clinical and general psychology.
This concentration prepares students to become licensed psychological associates as defined by the North Carolina Practice Act. Students who successfully complete the clinical concentration will be eligible to take the licensure exam.
Applicants admitted to either the clinical or general concentration will experience a rigorous academic program in which students are expected to exhibit ethical behavior, work diligently to develop competencies in the chosen area, complete a thesis and matriculate to degree in two or three years.
