North Carolina Central University (NCCU) officials are closely monitoring the light wintry event expected to impact central North Carolina early on Friday, Dec. 5. NCCU will operate under Condition 1 (Reduced Operations) of the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy on Friday, Dec. 5, beginning at midnight, until 11:59 p.m. All final exams scheduled for Dec. 5 will take place virtually.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this regulation is to provide guidance for purchasing computer equipment.

2. Scope

This regulation applies to all faculty and staff procuring goods and services.

3. Computer Equipment

3.1  Information technology purchases must be made in compliance with all applicable State policies.

4. NCCU Information Technology’s Role

4.1  Computer Equipment purchases must be approved by NCCU Information Technology (ITS).

4.1.1  End-user must consult with ITS to identify the appropriate computer systems, software and/or accessories before purchases can be made.
