1. Eagle Venture Program

The Eagle Venture is an off-campus component of Campus Recreation. Through the Eagle Venture Program NCCU students are able to experience a variety of adventure type trips. Only a limited number of students are taken on Eagle Venture trips, in order to foster small group interaction.  Depending on type and location of trip, there is generally a cost associated with each trip.

2. Trip Sign-up

Participants must sign-up in person at L.T Walker Complex.  If a fee is associated with the trip, the fee is due at the time of sign-up. Trip sign-ups are on a first come first service basis. Participants will receive an email with specific instructions for each trip.  Information will include departure time, items to bring, and any additional information to assist with students planning for trip.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

It is the participant’s responsibility to understand the cancellation and refund policy for the trip(s) they are registering. Cancellations must be made 10 BUSINESS DAYS prior trip departure date to receive a refund, minus a $5 cancellation fee. Funds may be transferred to another trip if cancelled 10 business days prior to your trip departure date and the cancellation fee will be waived. Cancellations that occur within 10 business days of trip departure will receive NO REFUND regardless of the circumstances. 100% refunds will be provided if Eagle Adventures cancels the trip for any reason. Refund requests can only be processed during hours of operation.

4. Eligibility

Current NCCU students are eligible to participate in Eagle Adventure trips and events. At the time of registration, participants must possess their NCCU ID card and complete all trip registration paperwork. Eligible participants under 18 years of age must have their registration paperwork signed by their parent or legal guardian before being eligible to register.

5. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drugs

As part of our mission to provide healthy and safe outdoor recreation experiences, alcohol and illegal drugs are PROHIBITED. Consumption and/or possession of alcohol or drugs while attending an Eagle Adventures trip or event will be handled through the appropriate NCCU authorities. We encourage participants to refrain from use of tobacco products during the trip.

6. Travel

All trip participants must travel with the transportation provided by the Eagle Venture trip. Participants may not use their personal vehicles.
