University Alert

The university will operate under Condition 1 (Reduced Operations) of the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy on Monday, March 16, effective at 12 p.m. through 11:59 p.m. A strong storm system will bring widespread hazardous weather conditions to the region.

Classes scheduled to start at 12 p.m. or later will be held virtually. Non-essential staff will work remotely.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this rule is to explain vending services on the NCCU campus.

2. Scope

This rule applies to all university departments and activities.

3.  Beverage and Snack Vending Terms

3.1.1 Vending services contracts can only be negotiated by the Campus Enterprises Office on behalf of the University.  

3.1.2 The terms of the vending contracts prohibit university departments, agencies, and other firms from vending on campus.

3.1.3 NCCU provides drink and snack vending machines in numerous locations across campus as determined by Campus Enterprises to maximize revenues, which support scholarships.
