Faculty/Staff Parking Decals

A valid NCCU parking decal must always be properly displayed in all vehicles when parked on University property. Failure to display a decal or misuse of a decal may result in fines, booting, towing, and/or loss of campus parking privileges.

Parking decals are the property of NCCU Parking Services. Decals may not be sold, given away, transferred, or borrowed. The decal holder on record is responsible for all violations. If you choose to purchase a parking decal, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with campus parking regulations and NC state laws for motorized vehicle operators.

If you are leaving the University or canceling a parking permit, please stop by the parking office on the last day you need the permit to fill out a payroll cancellation form.

A permit is required to park on campus. Permits are valid for one year and expire on June 30 of the specified permit year.

Decal renewals for employees begin each year in August. Renewals can be paid via payroll deduction, cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa. To ensure payroll deduction continues without interruption, please submit a permit renewal request before July 15.

Permit Distribution

Decals can be picked up from the Parking Office at Eagle Landing Residence Hall with a receipt from the Cashier’s Office and proof of completed payroll deduction.

Restrictions

No parking is allowed in driving lanes, fire lanes, tow-away zones, handicap-accessible spaces, reserved spaces, on sidewalks or grass, under tree canopies, or any area not specifically designated for parking. Also, please do not block dumpsters. Remember, streets and service areas must always be accessible for emergency vehicles.
