The Peggy Ward Financial Education Center (PWFEC) Wealth Management Camp (WMC) is a week-long, in-person program that introduces high school students to the fundamentals of wealth management and personal finance. Through interactive lessons, team challenges, and engaging activities, campers build financial knowledge and practical skills. Students will compete for team and individual prizes and will receive a camp t-shirt and certificate of completion.

Unlock the future of real estate with this immersive week-long experience designed for the next generation of entrepreneurs, investors, developers and change-makers! Students will explore the exciting world of real estate through hands-on projects, interactive workshops, and engaging sessions led by industry professionals. From flipping houses and building wealth to understanding commercial real estate and community development, campers will walk away inspired and empowered with real-world knowledge and skills.

The Summer Immersion Experience in Biotech is a two-week residential camp for high school students to provide exposure in biotechnology, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. There will be two sessions: June 14–26 and July 12–24. There will be 24 participants per session and a total of 48 participants in all.

Phenomenal U is a Girl Scout program for teenage girls that is hosted at a college or university each year. Phenomenal U is designed to give girls an authentic glimpse into college and campus life, and for many of the girls attending, this will be their first experience on a university campus. Phenomenal U is a fun, inspiring day where girls discover their potential, build confidence, and learn new skills through exciting sessions led by incredible facilitators.

The Pre-College Access in AI project will provide 10 students from Graham High School (Alamance County) and Person High School (Roxboro County) with exposure to AI, college readiness, and personal development skills. This program largely takes place virtually, with sessions occurring once a week. The program also includes two day trips on June 12, 2026, and July 10, 2026.

In collaboration with Durham's Hope for Kids, the NexGen Eagles Leadership Academy is an immersive two-week day camp at North Carolina Central University designed to help middle and high school students build confidence, leadership skills, and a passion for community impact. Through interactive workshops, team challenges, guest speakers, and college exposure, students explore leadership, civic engagement, and personal growth in a fun and supportive environment. The academy empowers young scholars to discover their potential and begin developing the skills needed to become future leaders in their schools, communities, and careers.

Similar to NCCU’s Summer Immersion Experience in Biotech program, this camp will provide students with hands-on learning experiences in STEM-related fields, including exposure to biotechnology, career readiness, and interactions with professionals.
Unlike the residential program, this will be a day camp format, where students are dropped off and picked up daily. IAIER will partner with Leidos to deliver engaging activities, and program details are currently being finalized.

Join us for this youth camp for students in grades K–8 in the coming school year. Participants will take part in an obstacle course, spend time on drills, and end the camp with a football version of kickball. Students will also have the opportunity to run through the tunnels with smoke, just as NCCU Eagle players do at the start of games.
