Fire Watch Training

A fire watch is a protocol that keeps building occupants and visitors safe and property protected from fire danger any time the fire safety system is temporarily out of service.  This training is part of the required training for persons assigned to perform fire watch duties to ensure they are prepared for a fire should the situation occur — not only to comply with National Fire Protection Association standards but also to ensure the health and safety of everyone in the building and the building itself.

Portable Fire Extinguisher Training (NCCU Personnel)

This training is required upon initial employment and at least annually thereafter to meet regulatory requirements. This training provides a greater insight into portable fire extinguishers for employee use, general principles of fire extinguisher use, hazards involved with using extinguishers to fight fires, and information on what types of portable fire extinguishers are on campus as well as how to select the proper type of extinguisher.
