NCCU Announces New StudentBridge Virtual Campus Tour

Posted January 23, 2020, 11:09AM

North Carolina Central University’s (NCCU) Division of Enrollment Management will introduce an interactive campus map in late January to support student retention, engagement, and awareness of university programs.

The map by StudentBridge provides a virtual tour that will allow future Eagles to have an in-depth look into campus life.

We are focused on student success by upgrading our technology and inviting students to truly ‘discover what’s Central to you. This tool will offer a cutting-edge look into living on campus, participating in the athletic programs, engaging with our Career Services office, researching solutions to health challenges in our biotechnology labs, and more.

Monica Leach, Ed.D., senior associate vice chancellor for enrollment management and academic affairs

On average, universities that use interactive maps experience a 10% increase in the number of campus visits scheduled. Additionally, prospective students who engage with virtual tours are 10 times more likely to apply for admission, according to data provided by StudentBridge.

Online visitors will also be able to take a tour of NCCU’s School of Law.

The virtual tour not only provides students an enlightening and interactive journey of the School of Law and its opportunities, but creates an exciting sketch of Legal Eagle Pride.
