Renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump visited North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law ahead of his recent campus book signing as part of his “Worse Than a Lie” book tour.

Hosted by the Student Bar Association, Crump engaged with students, sharing insights from his legal career and offering words of encouragement to the next generation of legal advocates. Known for his work in high-profile civil rights cases, Crump emphasized the importance of using the law as a tool for justice, advocacy and meaningful change.

Crump later spoke to a larger audience during a session moderated by School of Law alumni Harry Daniels and Robyn Sanders, continuing the conversation on civil rights, advocacy and the role of legal professionals in advancing justice.
