Chancellor’s Ambassadors Program

The Chancellor’s Ambassadors Program is a student leadership development initiative housed within the Office of the Chancellor. The program prepares Ambassadors to build and sustain meaningful relationships among students, faculty, staff, alumni and external partners across the region. Ambassadors embody what it means to be an Eagle through professional networking, business etiquette and community engagement at the local, state, and national levels, advancing the university’s motto of Truth & Service.

Chancellor’s Ambassadors must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate campus involvement, be knowledgeable about the university and exhibit strong communication skills, particularly in public and professional settings. Eligible students must be full-time undergraduate students in good academic, financial and disciplinary standing and classified as sophomores, juniors or seniors

Participants are expected to respond promptly to program requests, demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in attending meetings, events and potential travel opportunities, and commit to personal and leadership development. 

Ambassadors support the Office of the Chancellor through volunteer service, event assistance and outreach initiatives while communicating the university’s values, priorities and student experience to diverse audiences, including prospective students, alumni, community leaders and stakeholders across the state of North Carolina and beyond.
