Ribbon Cutting for Peggy Ward Financial Education Center

North Carolina Central University will host the Peggy Ward Financial Education Center Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the NCCU School of Business. This ceremonial event honors distinguished alumna Peggy M. Ward, Class of 1974, and celebrates the official dedication of the Peggy Ward Financial Education Center.

The program will recognize Ms. Ward’s decades of leadership, service, and philanthropic commitment to NCCU, as well as highlight the Center’s mission to advance financial literacy, economic empowerment, and wealth-building opportunities for students and the broader community. The event will feature remarks from university leadership, a student perspective, a video tribute, and the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
