Ms. Ta'Keyah Holder serves as the Director of Executive Programs in the Department of Public Administration at North Carolina Central University (NCCU).
Ms. Holder directs the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) programs, where she manages admissions and recruitment, program and event planning, academic and career advising, student retention, and teaching select courses within the MPA curriculum.
Ms. Holder brings over a decade of experience in higher education, specializing in admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, and student advising and counseling. She has held positions at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Georgia State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill prior to joining NCCU.
A native of Smithfield, North Carolina, Ms. Holder earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration (2013) and her Master of Public Administration (2016) from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration.
