Tyler S Clark
Dr. Tyler S. Clark is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Criminal Justice at North Carolina Central University and a researcher, evaluator, and educator with over a decade of experience spanning higher education, applied research, and community engagement. She currently serves as a senior data analyst and evaluator at SageFox Consulting Group, LLC, where she leads and supports evaluation efforts for federally funded initiatives supported by agencies such as the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Department of Defense. Her work focuses on program evaluation, data-driven decision-making, and strengthening educational and workforce pathways.
Dr. Clark holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Psychology from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, and a Ph.D. in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Her academic and professional background reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation that integrates criminal justice, psychology, and advanced quantitative and evaluation methodologies.
In addition to her work in applied research, Dr. Clark has extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and graduate programs. She has taught courses in research methods, statistics, criminal justice systems, and applied analysis at multiple institutions, where she is recognized for fostering higher-order thinking, practical skill development, and student-centered learning environments. Her teaching emphasizes the real-world application of data and research to issues of justice, policy, and community well-being.
Dr. Clark’s research and evaluation portfolio centers on education and workforce development, with particular attention to pathways in computing and STEM, program effectiveness, and policy implementation. She has contributed to large-scale, grant-funded projects and regularly collaborates with faculty, institutions, and community organizations to strengthen program outcomes and support evidence-based practice.
She is also the founder of J.E.W.E.L.S., Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and mentoring young women through leadership development, service, and educational support. Through her scholarship, teaching, and service, Dr. Clark remains committed to advancing opportunity and preparing the next generation of criminal justice professionals and scholars.
