La’Toria Jallah, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, CBIS, is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a clinical educator in the NCCU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic specializing in treating adult neurogenic communication disorders and providing tele-supervision services.
She earned a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) and an M.Ed. in Communication Disorders at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). After obtaining her master’s degree, she practiced clinically as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings and is a certified brain injury specialist. Her experiences as a speech-language pathologist motivate her to assist students in translating research into their clinical practices.
