Dana Green is a public historian and Ph.D. candidate in History at Morgan State University, with a concentration in African American history, women’s studies, and sports history. Her research and curatorial work center on preserving and amplifying African American cultural narratives through oral history, community-engaged scholarship, and archival practice.
She has held fellowships and internships with institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, the National Park Service, and the North Carolina African American Heritage Commission. Dana curated the Colors of Pontella Mason exhibition at the Eubie Blake Center and has presented at the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) and the Association of African American Museums Conference. Her published work includes a historical study of Durham’s Black medical community and a book review in the Journal of Sports History.
