David A. Bullock, Ph.D. is a lecturer in the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from NCCU in 2014 and his Ph.D. in Genetics from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2022. His doctoral research focused on the post-transcriptional regulation of plant hormones, including ethylene and auxin.
Most recently, he served as a Science Education Alliance–Phage Hunters Advancing Genomics and Evolutionary Science (SEA-PHAGES) lab instructor during the summer of 2025. He is now seeking collaborative opportunities in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) to systematically investigate and enhance teaching and learning practices in higher education.
