Dr. Chrystal Ingram Williams is a dedicated speech-language pathologist and clinical associate professor in communication sciences and disorders at NCCU. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Williams brings expertise in articulation disorders, pediatric and adult language development, and augmentative and alternative communication. Dr. Williams is passionate about mentoring students and providing high-quality clinical services to individuals with communication disorders.
She is also actively involved in professional service, including serving on the board of directors for the North Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NCSHLA). She is an active member of the National Black Association for Speech Language and Hearing (NBALSH) and is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), the North Carolina Augmentative Communication Association (NCACA), the North Carolina Association of Supervisors in Speech Pathology and Audiology (NCASSPA), and the NCCU Alumni Association.
Dr. Williams earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in English literature and communication disorders from NCCU and her doctorate degree in leadership in higher education from National University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
