Ariel N. Moore is a professor in the History Department at North Carolina Central University. As a double eagle, she received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from this institution. Previously, Ariel has studied the African Diaspora, focusing on the intellectual history of the rise of Pan-Africanism during the First World War. Currently, she has shifted her interest to the Antebellum era of American history, specifically studying the enslavement of African/African American Women and its effects on identity.
Currently, she is a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She teaches primarily on African American, American, and World History.
