Meet the Residential Life Staff

Our area coordinator (AC) staff are full-time master’s level professionals. The AC provides leadership to a collection of communities within their area. ACs ensure residence halls are safe and inclusive living-learning environments that contribute to the overall success of all the students within their communities. ACs directly supervise graduate hall coordinators and indirectly supervise the resident assistants in their area.

Our graduate hall coordinator (GHC) staff are full-time graduate students studying a vast array of majors, from Student Personnel to Law. The GHC aids the area coordinator in addressing student concerns in their respective residence halls. The GHC directly supervises the resident assistants, who are student staff members living on the floors throughout the building.

If a student should have a concern that they feel is not being addressed by the resident assistant or just want another level of support while living in the residence hall, they should refer to their graduate hall coordinator. A student can find their graduate hall coordinator's office on the first floor of their residence hall. The GHC office hours should be posted on the office door.

Our Central Office staff are full-time professionals dedicated to serving students. The Central Staff aids parents, students, faculty, and staff with various processes that promote a healthy living environment for NCCU students.
