North Carolina Central University completed a comprehensive data governance assessment to strengthen how we manage and use institutional data. This two-phase effort prepared the relaunch of Data Governance at NCCU by evaluating our current practices, identifying opportunities for improvement, assessing campus readiness for change, and developing a strategic roadmap for implementation. Based on this assessment, NCCU began implementing the new framework across our campus. Based on these findings, BerryDunn finalized the roadmap, created documentation for new policies and procedures, and supported NCCU’s transition to a more optimized, campus-wide data governance framework.
