Kick off Jazz Week with an intimate evening featuring emerging voices and developing ensembles. This performance highlights the next generation of NCCU Jazz talent, blending vocal harmony with instrumental creativity in a close-up setting.
Monday, April 20, at 7 p.m.
Location: BN Duke Practice Room
Experience small group jazz at its finest. NCCU’s combos bring improvisation, individuality, and experimentation to the stage, offering a dynamic and personal take on the jazz tradition.
Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m.
Location: BN Duke Practice Room
Join us for an evening led by the masters. NCCU faculty take the stage to showcase their artistry, musicianship, and deep roots in jazz performance and education. This is a rare opportunity to hear the educators behind the program in a live setting.
Wednesday, April 22, at 7 p.m.

Fresh off their Carnegie Hall performance, NCCU’s Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Big Band return home for a powerful night of Eagle Jazz. Joined by alumni, this homecoming concert celebrates the legacy, excellence, and future of NCCU Jazz.
