The ITS CIO's Office at NCCU is a dynamic team dedicated to providing strategic leadership and administrative support for the ITS Division. The office is led by the Chief Information Officer (CIO), who oversees IT services and initiatives' strategic direction and overall management. The Business Officer handles financial operations, budget management, and resource allocation, ensuring the efficient use of resources. The Administrative Support Associate also assists the Business Officer with administrative tasks, enhancing the office's productivity and efficiency. Supporting the CIO, the Executive Assistant to the CIO manages schedules, communications, and special projects, facilitating seamless operations. Together, this team ensures that the ITS Division operates smoothly and effectively, supporting the technological needs of NCCU.

The IT Director of Infrastructure manages the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring robust, reliable, and scalable network and system operations. The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) leads the information security program, protecting the university's data and systems from cyber threats. The Director of Enterprise Application and Development Services supervises the development and maintenance of enterprise applications, supporting critical university functions and enhancing user experiences. The Director of Client Services ensures exceptional IT support and services for faculty, staff, and students, focusing on customer satisfaction and efficient issue resolution. The Director of Classroom, Computer, and Events Support manages technical support for classrooms, computer labs, and university events, ensuring that all technological needs are met seamlessly. The Enterprise Applications and Development Services (EADS) department encompasses several key areas: Enterprise Administration and Business Analysis Services (EABAS), Enterprise Development Services (EDS), and Web Services (WS). This team is responsible for the comprehensive support of Ellucian Banner, the university's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and its related components. They also handle university and governmental reporting and other systems that interface with the Banner ERP. The primary objective of the team is to provide support for the latest technology trends in administrative systems to administrators, faculty, staff, and students, as well as manage the university's public web presence, mobile application, portal, and content management system (CMS). Their goal is to ensure the university's enterprise systems remain online and available, enabling university constituents to conduct their day-to-day business with minimal service interruptions.

The IT Governance, Engagement, and Support Services Team is dedicated to advancing the university’s mission by strategically aligning technology with institutional priorities. Through thoughtful, data-informed technology practices, we enhance and reinforce the learning experience for our students, elevate the teaching experience for our faculty, and strengthen administrative operations for our staff. Our areas of responsibility include IT governance, enterprise project management, campus technology engagement, instructional and administrative technology support, and strategic ITS communications. We also provide robust campus event support, lead efforts in data governance to ensure the integrity and security of institutional data, and manage database administration for NCCU’s enterprise systems to ensure operational continuity and data accessibility. Through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to service excellence, we ensure that technology is not only a tool but also a catalyst for institutional effectiveness, continuous improvement, and student success.
