Program Overview
The Second Degree program is for candidates who already hold a BA in a different field but would like to pursue a teaching license. The Math concentration (Middle Grades Education BA) prepares candidates to integrate in-depth knowledge of mathematics into the curriculum of public schools at the middle level (grades 6–9). This program leads to an initial North Carolina teaching license.
