The Nutrition and Dietetics Family and Consumer Sciences concentration is designed to give students an instructional foundation in foods and nutrition and prepare them for entry-level positions in dietetics and nutrition. This concentration will satisfy the Didadic Program in Dietetics (DPD) academic requirements and required coursework for students interested in becoming a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). NCCU offers a Future Education Graduate Program, a supervised practice equivalent, which integrates experiential learning and a Master's in Nutritional Science.
This program is fully accredited through June 2026 by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2190, Chicago, IL 60606-6995, 800-877-1600 (ext. 5400). https://www.eatrightpro.org/acend.
