Join Us for Teaching Artist Tuesdays
The North Carolina Arts Council, in partnership with North Carolina Central University’s Teaching Artist Certificate Program, began an online workshop series in Summer 2020, entitled Teaching Artist Tuesdays,
The intent of the free online workshops is to serve as a map for this state’s teaching artists as they navigate the COVID-19 landscape. Sharon Hill, Arts Education director for the N.C. Arts Council, and Lenora Helm Hammonds, director of North Carolina Central University’s Teaching Artist Certificate Program, curate and facilitate the workshops. Other collaborators on the trainings held in series are ARTS North Carolina and the N.C. Department of Public Instruction. We also would like to thank National Endowment of the Arts for the support of NCCU Teaching Artist Certificate Program's guest teaching artists.
Teaching artists in the state, as well as artists interested in learning about opportunities to teach, are invited to attend Teaching Artist Tuesdays.
