Omari J. Crawford is an attorney at Williams Teusink LLC, where he handles a wide range of real estate and business disputes. Crawford also serves as the state representative for Georgia’s 89th House District. He was recently recognized as one of Georgia’s Top 10 Most Effective Lawmakers by the Center for Effective Lawmaking.
Crawford attended Florida A&M University (FAMU) on a track and field scholarship and earned a place on the All-Academic Conference Team for three consecutive years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in political science and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from FAMU, in 2008 and 2009, respectively. Crawford later completed a dual-degree program at North Carolina Central University, earning both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration in 2013.
Crawford serves on the boards of the East Lake Family YMCA and the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. He is an active member of several civic and professional organizations, including 100 Black Men of DeKalb County, Inc., the DeKalb Lawyers Association, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia. In his spare time, Crawford participates in races and cycling events around the country.
