Michael Robinson, a two-time North Carolina Central University (NCCU) alumnus, has served as the assistant athletic director for ticket operations at his alma mater since 2022. In this capacity, he is responsible for all paid, ticketed on-campus events, including football and basketball, and supervises event staff. Under his direction, NCCU has successfully implemented digital ticketing, improved gameday operations and achieved record-breaking football season ticket sales, notably for Eagle Seat Licenses (ESL).
Robinson's extensive career at NCCU Athletics includes prior roles as study hall coordinator, marketing student intern, and business office manager, where he gained valuable experience in revenue generation and management. His dedication has been recognized with the Quiet Influence Award and the Young Alum of the Year by the NCCU National Alumni Association, where he remains an active member. He was also the first undergraduate to join the NCCU Eagle Club.
Robinson's professional affiliations include the Minority Opportunities in Athletic Association (MOAA), the National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations (NAATSO) and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated (Beta Phi Chapter). A native of Butner, North Carolina, he holds a bachelor's in criminal justice and a master's in public administration from NCCU.
