LeKeshia D. Franklin, a native of Greensboro, NC, is a 2002 graduate, double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She returned to the nest after receiving her Master of Public Administration in 2005 and has currently completed all of the required coursework towards her Doctorate of Philosophy with a concentration in Public Policy and Administration online at Walden University.
LeKeshia has almost 15 years in the nonprofit sector, with proven success in event management, securing corporate sponsors, capital campaigns, volunteer training and recruitment, donor cultivation and stewardship, and fundraising program development and management. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, having been initiated into the Alpha Lambda Chapter in the spring of 2001. She remains active as a financial member of the High Point Alumnae Chapter. LeKeshia is a member of the NCCU Greensboro Alumni Chapter and as a proud alum, she has only missed one homecoming since 2002, when she had her son “JJ” in 2016.
