Lakevious Battle is a technologist, mentor and community advocate from Tarboro, North Carolina. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife, son and daughter.
He holds a B.S. in management information systems from Winston-Salem State University and an M.S. in the same field from North Carolina Central University (NCCU).
As a senior cloud and AI solution architect at Microsoft, Battle supports customers in the software and digital platform space — helping them drive innovation through secure, scalable cloud and AI solutions. He previously worked at Verizon and NetApp, where he led enterprise cloud and infrastructure initiatives.
Battle also serves as chief technology officer at Sherpa Clouds, a sports tech startup transforming how agents and teams manage player relationships and transfers.
He is a career counselor with CHHF Inc., helping individuals from underserved communities navigate pathways into technology and career advancement. He serves as a mentor for Black technologists at Microsoft and as an external connections lead, where he builds bridges between Microsoft and local organizations.
