Kierra Bonner is a native of Sanford, North Carolina, and a second-generation Eagle. Her mother, Joyce Bonner, is a North Carolina Central University alumna, and Bonner continued the family tradition by graduating cum laude from NCCU with a degree in behavioral and social sciences and a minor in business administration.
She also holds an associate's degree in hospitality management, which laid the foundation for her career in events and guest experience. Bonner later earned her M.B.A. from Louisiana State University and holds certifications in project management, including her designations as a certified scrum master and certified lean practitioner.
Bonner is the founder of Life of the Party Bus, Houston’s only pink luxury party experience. Her business has been featured in local news outlets, articles and online publications, and she was recently selected to interview for the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business program — a national initiative supporting Black women entrepreneurs.
Bonner has more than a decade of experience in hospitality, event strategy and project management. She most recently served as senior project and portfolio manager at Baylor College of Medicine, where she led enterprise-level initiatives focused on key performance indicators, change management and operational efficiency across clinical departments.
Bonner is also a charter member and current president of the NCCU Texas Alumni Chapter, leading efforts around alumni engagement, fundraising and scholarships. Deeply committed to legacy, leadership and community, she regularly mentors young girls through empowerment programs and partners with local organizations to create access and impact.
