Johnny Jones, II is a senior clinical research associate and business leader with a decade of expertise in clinical trials. He holds a M.S. in Medical Science from Hampton University and a B.S. in Biology from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and has academic experience at Yale School of Medicine.
As co-founder and CEO of Precision Research and Development Solutions, Jones leads a biotech and pharmaceutical development team that accelerates drug development while driving inclusive economic growth. Precision plans to bridge the gap between discovery and delivery — providing infrastructure, expertise and execution that empower corporate partners and uplift underrepresented communities.
Jones therapeutic expertise spans neurology, oncology, cardiology, and rare diseases, as well as COVID-19. His work has been published in the World Federation of Neurology and his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) research has been presented at the International Symposium on ALS/Motor Neuron Disease (MND).
He has held roles at global clincal research organization and healthcare systems earning recognition for his collaborative approach and problem-solving skills. Beyond corporate leadership, Jones serves on the advisory board for Hayti Reborn in Durham, NC, and has chaired the Young Professionals Council at the Levine Museum of the New South.
