Gabrielle Scott is an advocate, program strategist and community leader with a strong background in public administration, social justice and civic engagement. She currently serves as the Durham County organizer for the NC Black Alliance and Advance Carolina, where she mobilizes local communities around voting rights, economic justice and policy education.
Previously, Gabrielle served as program manager and interim program director at the NC MBDA Business Center, formerly housed within the NC Department of Administration’s Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Division. In this role, she led initiatives to expand economic opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses across the state.
In addition to her professional work, Scott serves as the Durham Section and NC Statewide Social Justice Chair for the National Council of Negro Women. She leads advocacy campaigns and community outreach efforts focused on voting rights, education equity and Black maternal health.
Gabrielle holds a master's degree in public administration and obtained a certificate in social justice from the Medgar Evers School of Law and Social Justice through the Advocacy Academy. Known for her collaborative leadership and deep commitment to equity, she is passionate about building sustainable systems that center and empower historically marginalized communities.
