Christin Cotten is a seasoned attorney, executive advisor and entrepreneur with more than a decade of service in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG). She currently serves in the U.S. Navy Reserves as a JAG with Naval Special Warfare SEAL Team 17, providing legal counsel on national security, privacy and intelligence matters.
Cotten is the founder of Lucy Regent Legal, LLC, a boutique law firm focused on entertainment law, business law and estate planning. The firm’s mission is to generate wealth and preserve your legacy. Through this work, she empowers creatives, entrepreneurs and families with the legal tools they need to thrive.
In addition to her legal practice, Cotten owns and operates a trucking company with a fleet that provides semi-truck carrier services throughout the Southeast.
Cotten earned her J.D. and M.B.A. from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and a B.A. in Public Policy from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she competed on the varsity women’s rowing team. She has served globally in legal advisory roles and is admitted to practice before several military and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. She is an active member of the Johnston County, NC, branch of the NAACP.
