Alison Threadgill is an award-winning television executive with over 14 years of experience working in the cable television industry, driving creative brand strategies and overseeing talent and casting operations. She has worked for TLC, Discovery Channel, the Science Channel, TV One, and CleoTV, in program publicity, event planning, and casting for movies, television and commercials.
Alison was awarded the Discovery Communications Pathfinder Award in 2005. She also earned a Stellar Award in 2008 and two Daytime Emmys in 2008 and 2009, was named a National Association of Multi Ethnicity in Cable (NAMIC) Emerging Leader in 2013, and was honored with NAACP Image Awards in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2020.
Alison is a resident of Washington, DC, and in her spare time enjoys international travel, having traveled to six of the seven continents and over 30 countries. She also enjoys reading, hiking and community service and has volunteered in local women’s shelters and food pantries. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, in Upper Marlboro, MD.
