NCCU complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), which requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus safety and security related policies and crime statistics for crimes that occur on and near their respective campuses.

The Clery Geography Map outlines NCCU’s Clery Jurisdiction. Clery crimes that occur within any of the areas identified on the map must be reported within the university’s Clery reporting.

"Clery Crimes and Definitions" outlines the formal definition of crimes that occur on NCCU’s campus and ensures consistency across the Police Department as we work to appropriately classify and report incidents that occur within our geography.
