Diversity and Inclusion

Through programming, education, and training, we work to ensure Eagles excel with an understanding and appreciation for diversity.

About Us

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Conference

The annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference offers the NCCU community and higher education professionals across the state of North Carolina an opportunity to share ideas and perspectives to make our campuses and communities more accepting of all.

At the beginning of each semester, students are welcomed back to campus with fun and exciting activities that amplify their Eagle pride!

Diversity Equity and Inclusion

Our department provides training (e.g., Safe Zone training), programs, and events (e.g., our International Festival or the NALSA Powwow) in collaboration with campus partners to better understand and serve our students and community.

Diversity and Inclusion supports a few committees that are campus wide, including the Latino Advisory Committee, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Polychromes. The committees help the entire campus to fulfill our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
