Our department provides training (e.g., Unconscious Bias and Safe Zone workshops), programs and events (e.g., our International Festival or the NALSA Powwow) in collaboration with campus partners to better understand and serve our students and community. If you would like us to come to your department or organization to provide a workshop tailored to your needs, please contact us.

Diversity and Inclusion supports a few committees that are campus wide, including the Latino Advisory Committee, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Polychromes. The committees help the entire campus to fulfill our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Student Leadership

Student Leadership

The Department of Diversity and Inclusion strives to prepare students by supporting identity development, increasing leadership skills and offering career preparation. We have two leadership programs: the Mosaic Intercultural Student Leaders and Lavender Liaisons.

Centers and Diverse Student Organizations

Intercultural Center

The Intercultural Center provides a space where students of all races, ethnicities, sexualities, nationalities, abilities and cultures are celebrated.
