North Carolina Central University (NCCU) Department of Theatre will bring the Tony award-winning musical “Dreamgirls” to the Durham community.
“Dreamgirls” was originally adapted from the 1981 Broadway musical composed by Henry Kriger and lyricist Tom Eye. The story follows a Motown record label and its famous girl group while also exploring R&B music during the 1960s and 1970s.
