Employer On-Campus Recruitment Policies
The Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) maximizes employment and internship opportunities for its students by offering a range of services to facilitate the recruitment of prospective candidates. The CPDC has developed the following policies to ensure that NCCU students and alumni are treated fairly and are being recruited for viable positions.
Employers and organizations are expected to abide by and adhere to the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ (NACE) Principles for Professional Practice, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Employers are expected to maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with CPDC staff. That includes cooperation with CPDC policies and procedures, meeting necessary deadlines and providing the job or company information and data requested for Handshake approval.
The Career and Professional Development Center reserves the right to terminate or refuse the participation in our recruiting activities of any employer that is non-compliant with these guidelines or NCCU’s mission.
