Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Resource Center
The LGBTA Resource Center first opened its doors on April 9, 2013. The center is a unit of Student Affairs. The Center provides direct services to students as well as staff, faculty, alumni and community members.
The LGBTA Resource Center serves as a vital link where LGBTQIA individuals can find a sense of community and everyone can learn about LGBTQIA identity and culture. We strive to create an inclusive campus community by providing support services, educational programs, advocacy and opportunities for leadership development.
The LGBTA Student Resource Center houses a wealth of information and provides a variety of resources and programming, including:
Access to a library of LGBTQI materials
Educational and social programming
The LGBTA Lecture Series
LGBT Support Network
All current NCCU affiliates are welcome and encouraged to volunteer at the Center. For more information, please call the Center at 919-530-5545 or drop by to sign up.
